An overnight wreck on a snowy and icy I-70 in Wayne County left a man dead.
Indiana State Police say the wreck happened around 3:00am when a semi crashed into a car on eastbound 70 at the 134 mile marker, three miles west of the Cambridge City exit.
Police say the interstate was covered in snow and slick when the driver of the semi lost control in the westbound lanes.
The 18-wheeler crossed the median and hit an eastbound Nissan car.
The car was lodged under the semi‘s flat-bed trailer when police arrived on the scene.
Police say the man killed was from Illinois, but they have not released his identity. The wreck shut down a stretch of eastbound I-70 for just over half an hour overnight.
