Indiana State Superintendent of Education Glenda Ritz visited Salem Schools this morning to visit the schools.

“I enjoy finding out what the students are doing and visiting with the students in all the schools,” said Ritz. She was going to visit Charlestown Schools today as well.

Ritz toured Salem High School and in particular, attended John Calhoun’s Chemistry class and Greg McCurdy’s Biology class.

In fact, McCurdy’s class was in the middle of dissecting a fetal pig and Ritz joined in.

Ritz was heading to Charlestown Schools after visiting in Salem today.
