WSLM COUNTRY CMA TICKETS

WSLM COUNTRY wants to send you and a friend to A NIGHT WITH THE STARS during the 2014 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, TN June 5-8.

“WSLM 1220 AM is getting back to its country roots,” said owner and general manager Becky White. “Dad started the station in 1953 and it was originally a country and western station. As a matter of fact, the Number One Country DJ in the US was working at WSLM – that was Sag-a-long Taylor Porter.”

Now a member of the Country Music Association, White and 1220 AM WSLM COUNTRY are making plans to send listeners from the Kentuckiana area to the annual Music Festival in Nashville.

First off, said White, WSLM will be sending four couples to the CMA Music Festival’s nightly concerts at LP Field, where the Tennessee Titans play football. Those tickets are for Thursday, June 5, 6, 7 and 8th.

“These concerts were sold out at the end of last year’s festival so these are some of the hottest tickets in area right now,” said White.

  • Thursday night’s show will feature Brantley Gilbert, Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, and Rascal Flatts.
  • Friday’s show includes Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, The Band Perry and Eric Church.
  • Saturday’s live show will feature Chris Young, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Little Big Town and Darius Rucker.
  • The festival will close out on Sunday night with Brad Paisley, Hunter Hayes, Lady Antebellum, Thomas Rhett and the Charlie Daniels Band.

“Just going to see one of these shows is going to be a tremendous,” said White. “If you’re a country music fan, you’re going to have a great time…it’s going to be like going to four or five concerts all in one night!”

White will also give away four pair of tickets to the CMA Music Festival’s newest attraction, the AT&T U-verse Fan Fair X at the Music City Center.

“This is the fan part of the festival that features hundreds of booths featuring some of your favorite musicians and country performers,” said White. “Located in the new Music City Center, its air conditioned and a huge new building in downtown Nashville. You can get autographs, listen to interview sessions and hear new music.”

Finally, White will give away two tickets with access to all activities, all days of the CMA Music Festival.

“This is the grand prize,” said White. “You’ll get to experience everything and have a ball!”

The ticket winners will be announced on June 1 and you may enter through WSLM’s social media, website at wslmradio.com and through signing up at events like Friday Night on the Square and through contesting on-air at WSLM Radio.
