An Indiana University freshman was arrested Monday after police say he was dealing – psilocybin mushrooms, cocaine, marijuana wax, Xanax and LSD.

Police arrested 19-year-old Nathan H. Kolodziej, who lives in Ashton Center’s Voss Building.

Police arrested Kolodziej after they stopped him for a traffic violation at 9 p.m. on Campbell Drive.

IU Police Capt. Andy Stephenson says when officers searched Kolodziej and his vehicle they found cocaine, a large piece of THC wax, 150 squares of LSD blotter paper and 64 lisdexamfetamine tablets – a stimulant.

IU Police Department Capt. Andy Stephenson said that when police searched Kolodziej and his car, they reported finding cocaine, a large piece of wax paper containing THC wax, 150 squares of LSD blotter paper and 64 lisdexamfetamine tablets, a stimulant.

“He also had $300 worth of our money,” Stephenson said, describing multiple buys IUPD undercover agents made from the student at various locations around campus since February with bills police had recorded the serial numbers from.
He said a search of Kolodziej’s dorm room turned up $9,100 cash, 94 THC lollipops, four Xanax tablets and several bags of marijuana.

He also had more than $300 of marked money police had given confidential informants to purchase drugs from Koloziej.

Armed with a warrant, officers searched Kolodziej’s dorm room finding 94 THC lollipops, four Xanax tablets, several bags of marijuana and more than $9,000 in cash.

The freshman was charged with two counts of dealing cocaine, three counts of dealing other narcotics, dealing marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. He was booked into the Monroe County Jail, where bond was set at $15,000 surety and $500 cash.
