Bruce A. Blankenbaker, 90, Paoli, IN passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Springs Valley Meadows, French Lick, IN.   He was born in Pekin, IN on May 17, 1927 to Raymond and Ruth Hendricks Blankenbaker.
He married Elizabeth “Betty Doan on October 10, 1950.
He proceeds in death by his wife, parents, 3 brothers William, David, and Lew Blankenbaker, and one sister Jean Asborno.
He was a member of the Paoli Church of Christ, Paoli Masonic Lodge #119, Paoli VFW, Paoli, IN.,      Salem American Legion, Salem Eagles Post, Salem, IN.  and Hadi Shrine, Evansville IN.
He retired from International Union of Operating Engineer, Terre Haute, IN. and he was a farmer.
He also loved hunting and fishing.
He was a Merchant Marines and enlisted into the US Army during WWII serving in several different theaters of battle overseas.

Also, surviving Bruce A. Blankenbaker are 3 granddaughters Rachelle Clark Harding, Andria Venable and Josie White, one grandson Randall Blankenbaker and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday June 1, 2017 at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home.  Darvin Apple officiating.  Interment will follow in the Paoli Community Cemetery in Paoli, IN.   Visitation will be held 4-8 PMWednesday May 31, 2017, and from 9 AM until the time of service on Thursday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN 47454.
Masonic Rite Services will be conducted on Wednesday May 31, 2017, at 6:00 PM by the Masonic Lodge, Post #119.
