Yesterday afternoon at approximately 1:35, Indiana State Police, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force arrested a father and daughter on multiple drug charges.
Police responded to the Howard Johnson Hotel located at 1101 North Green River Road to arrest Scott J. Bond, 42, of Evansville and his daughter, Gabrielle Bond, 18.

- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felony
- Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance
- Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of Paraphernalia
- Possession of Altered Handgun
- Resisting Law Enforcement
- Visiting a Common Nuisance
Gabrielle Bond, 18, Evansville, IN
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance
- Possession of Marijuana
Bond was wanted on an active Vanderburgh County felony warrant for Dealing Methamphetamine. Officers had received information that Bond was staying at the hotel.
When officers knocked on the hotel room door Bond attempted to escape through a bathroom window. He was arrested just outside the hotel room without further incident.
Bond’s 18-year-old daughter, Gabrielle Bond, was located inside the hotel room.
A search of the hotel room and his vehicle revealed several baggies containing approximately 54 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, controlled substances, three handguns, two rifles, ammunition and $482 cash.
Scott and Gabrielle Bond were taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where they are currently being held without bond.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
