A Tennessee Semi Driver who was pulled over while driving on Interstate 65, was arrested by the Indiana Sate Police Friday morning for possession of Meth and Pot.
The driver, Edwin D. Goff, 46, from Sparta, TN, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
He was incarcerated at the Scott County Jail awaiting his first court appearance.
Friday Morning trooper Mark LaMaster, made a traffic stop on a semi-tractor and trailer on Interstate #65 South near the 29 Mile Marker, (Scottsburg Exit), for a traffic infraction.
As trooper LaMaster was speaking to the driver he could smell an odor of burnt Marijuana coming from the semi.
A subsequent search of the semi yielded Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Paraphernalia.
