Dr. Kim Alan Naugle, age 63, passed away on June 15, 2018 at UK Medical
Center, Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born September 12, 1954 to the late Everett and Dorothy Marie
(Durham) Naugle in Salem.
Aside from his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Barbara
and brother in law Jerry Rutherford.
Kim was a graduate of Salem High School and a graduate of Indiana
University with a PhD in counseling psychology and educational
psychology. He was a professor at Eastern Kentucky University since 1996
and served as associate dean for the College of Education for nine years.
He was a member of the American Counseling Association, Kentucky
Counseling Association, and a former member of the Kentucky Counseling
Licensure Board.
He is survived by his wife Becky Naugle, son Ryan Naugle and a brother
Raleigh (Sharon) Naugle and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at the Dawalt Funeral
Home with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of the service on
Wednesday.
A second service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 29, 2018 at Clark
Legacy Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
