Ralph Eugene Holler, 88, of Mitchell, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019, at Mitchell Manor.
Born April 8, 1931, in Saltillo, he was the son of Otho and Ida (Clark), Holler.
The mother of his children was Dorothy Purlee whom he married on June 15, 1951, and she died March 9, 2016. His second marriage was to Martha J. (Jolliff) Brooks born on October 8, 1967, and she preceded him in death on April 19, 2017.
Ralph retired from Carpenter Body Works and delivered school buses all over the United States.
He owned the R&M Bicycle Shop.
Ralph was a member of the Quaker Church and enjoyed traveling, especially on trains.
Survivors include his children, Charles (Susie) Holler of Bloomington, Joan Hawkins of Campbellsburg; stepchildren, Neysa Mitchell of Fayetteville, Tom Brooks of Mitchell, Dan Brooks of Mitchell; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson and a brother, Robert Holler of Salem.
His parents; son, Raymond Lee Holler; grandchildren, Julie Marie Ridener, Travis Duncan, and Harvey Duncan; great-grandchildren, Dottie Jo Holler and Logan Farler; and sister, Juanita Holler, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be in Mitchell Cemetery at a later date.
