Coleman McFelea, Jr. , age 79 of Campbellsburg, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in his residence.
Born November 15, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Coleman Edward McFelea Sr. and Maurine (Neagle) McFelea.
He was retired from LE Myers’ Electrical Company in Indianapolis and served during the Vietnam War in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Salem American Legion Cecil Grimes Post #41 and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #1393. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, farming and was a lifetime member of the NRA.
On December 9, 1966 he married Norma Jean (Bowers) McFelea, who survives.
Also surviving are: Son: James (Trish) McFelea; 3 Daughters: Gloria (Tony) Keltner, Coleen (Kirk) Muegge and Kathryn Speer; Grandchildren: Toby (Laken) Keltner; Miranda (Dylan) Griffitts; Samuel (Wendy) Keltner; Nathan, Rachel and Katelyn Muegge; AJ Fordyce; Maggie Speer and Charity and Gabriel McFelea; Great grandchildren: Paisley and Wyatt Prater and K.C. Keltner.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation: 10 am until the time of the service on Saturday.
