Emilee Fields, age 74, of Salem passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. Born July 6, 1948 in Kings Creek, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Otis Fields and Dora Jeffries.
Emilee was retired from the U.S. Census Bureau and attended Little York Christian Church.
She is survived by 2 children: Dave Fields and Jamie Underwood (Jeremy); 3 brothers: Robert Jeffries, Jerry Jeffries, and Randy Jeffries; 3 sisters: Lee Coleman, Bonnie Jeffries, and Melissa Jeffries; and 2 grandchildren: Trevor Fields and Brantley Underwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis Fields and Dora Jeffries; a son, Steven Fields; and a brother, Ron Jeffries.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home-Salem Chapel with Caleb Tolliver officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 15, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Jeffries Cemetery in Otisco, Indiana.
