Former candidate for Indiana Representative, Washington County Commissioner, County Engineer and Solid Waste District Director who was arrested in March on charges of child molestation has been released on bond.

Albert Mike Goering has been released from the Washington County Detention Center after posting a $25,000 bond.

Washington Circuit Judge Larry Medlock issued an order last week to reduce Goering’s bond from $120,000 to $25,000 full cash.

Goering had been jailed since his March 22 arrest on six B felony charges involving allegations he had sexual relations with a young teenage girl.

Medlock attached six terms to his order, including stipulations that Goering surrender his passport and sign a waiver of extradition.

Medlock ordered that Goering not leave the state, including in his order, “Defendant shall not even cross the river to the State of Kentucky.”
