Two Scottsburg residents were arrested this afternoon by the Indiana State Police on charges of selling and cooking meth.
Today at noon, a trooper from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg and a probation officer from the Scott County Probation Department executed a probation visit.
The visit was conducted at 300 North Gardner Street, Apartment #111, in Scottsburg. for Eric Sizemore, 30 years old, who lived at the address being visited.
Also in the home during the visit was a female acquaintance of Eric Sizemore’s, Darion Allen, 21 years of age.
When the trooper and probation officer entered the apartment they immediately noticed items commonly associated with the manufacturing of Methamphetamine. Both subjects in the residence were immediately taken into custody and a search warrant for the apartment was obtained.
A thorough search of the apartment yielded several items used in the production and/or possession of Methamphetamine.
Eric Sizemore was charged with Dealing in Methamphetamine, Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia with a Prior Arrest, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe.
Darion Allen was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia and Visiting a Common Nuisance.
Both subjects were incarcerated at the Scott County Jail awaiting their first court appearance.
