The City of Salem will be showing “Christopher the Christmas Tree”, Saturday, November 30, 1:00pm at the Salem Middle School Auditorium.
George Bowers, creator of Christopher the Christmas Tree will be handing out free posters to the children who attend the 30 minute movie.
DVDs, coloring books, and CDs will be available, featuring Christopher and all his friends from the Valley of Hidden Hollow,
No reservations are required and this is free to the public.
At 2:30pm we will be planting a 12” White Pine dedicating it as Christopher the Christmas Tree. This will take place in DePauw Park.
At 6:00pm the Christmas Parade begins and the theme is once again “Christopher the Christmas Tree”.
The parade will begin at the Legion Bingo Hall, travel north around the Salem Square. This will take place Just before lighting of the Court House and Christmas lights around the Square.
