Folks in Indiana are remembering the legacy of former South African President and humanitarian Nelson Mandela.
Dr. Valerie Grim is Chairperson of the African-American and African Diaspora Studies at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Grim calls the anti-apartheid maverick‘s death a “tremendous loss to the world.”
Grim says ranks Mandela at the top of the list among world leaders who she says ruled by moral authority, love and forgiveness and not power-seeking and vengeance.
