One driver was extricated from a one-vehicle accident this morning at the intersection of State Road 56 and 60 about 9:30 a.m.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Vallonia Fire and Rescue, Salem City Police and Salem Fire Department and ambulance service was on the scene.
The drive was in a Red Ford Truck and slid off the road on the west-bound side of State Road 60 into a ditch. The truck ended up on its side.
The Vallonia Fire and Rescue unit was winching the vehicle out of the ditch shortly after the driver was removed.
