A Mitchell man pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and child exploitation Wednesday.
Superior Court I Judge Michael Robbins is taking the plea of 25-year-old Benjamin T. Blanton under advisement.
If Robbins accepts the plea, Blanton will be sentenced on March 26.
Blanton was arrested on warrants for felony charges of child exploitation and four counts of possession of child pornography on March 12, 2013.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Blanton has sold a computer to a friend, who found the images in February 2013 and contacted police.
Officers obtain a search warrant for Blanton’s Mitchell home and found child pornography on four devices.
