Two Scott County men have been arrested for child molesting after two separate investigations by Detective Rachel Eickholtz of the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg.  
The first arrest, Jeffrey J. Sons, 20 years old from 702 Village Court in Austin, was arrested on the 31st of January by the Austin Police Department after a joint investigation. It was learned during the investigation that Jeffrey J. Sons was allegedly involved in sexual misconduct with a young child. He was charged with Child Molesting, C Felony, and was incarcerated at the Scott County Jail. The second arrest came today, after Jesse A Kiefer, 36 years of age, from 4201 South Charlestown Road in Lexington, IN, turned himself in to the Scott County Jail. He was charged with Child Molest, A Felony, (Five Counts) and Child Molest, C Felony, (Eight Counts). It was learned during the investigation that Jesse A. Kiefer allegedly fondled, touched and committed sexual deviate conduct with two separate victims. The Scott County Division of Child Services also assisted in the investigations. All Subjects are Innocent until and unless Proven Guilty in a Court of Law |
