The Eastern Lady Musketeers won the Sectional 2A Title last night in Pekin with a 40-38 victory over the Paoli Lady Rams.
A win earlier in the day over Crawford County set the Musketeers up to play in their their consecutive match up with Paoli on Saturday night.
Although Eastern had made it into the sectional final for the past two years, the Rams ended up winning both years.
This year, third time was the charm.

“This has officially become a rivalry,” said WSLM Broadcaster Matt Hein last night during the broadcast.
The Musketeers are 12-9 on the season and McBride is 92-60 in 7th year at Eastern.
The Lady Musketeers will face North Knox in the first game of the Regional competition at Paoli High School on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 10:30a. Other teams in this regional are Milan, North Knox, Forest Park.
