Detectives from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg received information from the Scott County Division of Child Services that alleged James Terry, 39, from 300 North Gardner Street, in Scottsburg, battered a small child and a female and then allegedly intimidated the female with death if she called the police.
After detectives spoke with James Terry earlier Monday, he was arrested for Battery, D Felony, Intimidation, D Felony and Domestic Battery, A Misdemeanor.
He was incarcerated at the Scott County Jail awaiting his first court appearance.
