Coach Mike McBride, the team and all the staff of Eastern Schools invite the community and fans to join them in a Pep Session for the Eastern Lady Musketeers on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7p in the high school gym.
Admission is Free. Come dressed in your favorite Eastern apparel and be prepared to encourage the Lady Musketeers on to their upcoming game.
The Musketeers defeated the Paoli Lady Rams Saturday night to win the 2A Sectional and advance to this weekend’s regional tournament at Paoli.
Eastern will face North Posey in the first game at 10:30a, followed by North Knox facing Austin.
The championship game will be played at 8p.
McBride, EHS Principal Darrin Farris, Mikie Batt and three players were guests on WSLM’s Coffee Club Wednesday morning.
McBride said the first group of 100 regional tickets have been sold and the school picked up another set of 100 tickets yesterday. They will be on sale at the school today and are $7 for one game and $10 for both games.
For those who can’t make it to the pep session on Thursday night, WSLM will be broadcasting the events LIVE from Eastern High School at 7p on 1220 AM. Kevin Sease, Matt Hein and Mark Maudlin will be speaking to fans, coaches and players.
