The exhibition game featuring the Cincinnati Reds and Louisville Bats at Louisville Slugger Field on Saturday, March 29 at 4 p.m. is officially sold out. The game is presented by The ALS Association Kentucky Chapter, Clear Channel and The Courier-Journal.
The game will give fans the first glimpse of the 2014 Reds playing against the Bats in their final preseason game leading up to Opening Day. All fans with a paid ticket for admission will receive a free Cincinnati Reds cap when entering the stadium. The game will be the Reds’ first visit to Louisville Slugger Field since a 2005 exhibition with the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Bats open the 2014 regular season campaign on the road in Toledo on Friday, April 4. The team begins their home schedule on Thursday, April 10 against Columbus with the first of 12 $1 Budweiser happy hours of the year. Tickets for all regular season games, including April 12 for Thunder Over Louisville, are available. The 2014 season will mark both the Bats’ 15th season at Louisville Slugger Field and their 15th season as the top affiliate of the Reds.
