The Indianapolis Colts will kick off their 2014 summer in June and WSLM 97.9 FM will be working to promote their stop in Louisville at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on Thursday, June 26 from 5-7p.
Colts Fan Fests are sponsored by the Indiana Corn Marketing Council and Indiana Soybean Alliance.
WSLM 97.9 FM is the Louisville market station for the Colts and has helped host the Colts Tour for two years.
“We’re proud to be the official Colts Station for the Kentuckiana area,” said Becky White, WSLM Owner and General Manager. “We’ll be on hand to pass out some free Colts schedules and register fans to win tickets to a pre-season Colts game. There is a lot of excitement around the upcoming season for the Colts to see what changes have been made to work towards a championship season! Come out and visit with WSLM and hear the Hunter Smith Band, meet Colts players and cheerleaders and get some delicious pizza from Papa Johns!”
White also noted she locked up a three-year contract extension last fall. “The Colts value their relationship with WSLM and we hope to continue the relationship for many years to come,” said White.
The 2014 Summer Tour schedule marks the eleventh consecutive year the Indianapolis Colts have hosted a traveling marketing campaign featuring players and cheerleaders. The Colts will host two Fan Fests in Indiana, as well a stop in Louisville, Ky. this summer. A complete schedule is listed below. Additional details are available on www.colts.com/events.
Colts Fan Fests include live music featuring the The Hunter Smith Band, autographs from Colts players and cheerleaders, free Colts giveaways and Colts In Motion, the team’s traveling museum. Fans may also sign up for one of the Colts Official Fan Clubs, register to win Colts tickets, play on the Colts interactive inflatables and test their skills in the Play 60 Zone.

Colts Day at Vincennes University includes autographs from Colts players and cheerleaders, free Colts giveaways and Colts In Motion, the team’s traveling museum. Fans may also sign up for one of the Colts Official Fan Clubs and register to win Colts tickets.
“We are excited to be entering our eleventh year of hosting a summer tour around the State of Indiana,” said Pete Ward, Indianapolis Colts Chief Operations Officer. “These events provide an opportunity for the team to show our appreciation to Colts Nation for their support throughout the year. Our fans are at the very heart of our organization and we look forward to sharing our summer with them.”

The Colts encourage all fans to arrive early at summer events. The line for player and cheerleader autographs may be cut off at any time to ensure the tour remains on schedule. Inclement weather or traffic may cause for late arrival or early departure. All Summer Tour events will take place rain or shine. Colts players’ names will not be announced prior to their arrival in each city. Fans will be allowed one autograph per person; however, fans may get back in line for additional autographs. All Colts event times are local.
