Three Orleans teens were arrested by Orleans Police after a rash of vehicle break-ins.
According to Orleans Police Chief Roy McFarland, police began investigating the incidents on May 19. McFarland says approximately 18 vehicles were entered and rummaged.
“By interviewing witnesses, police were able to identify and charge two 16-year-old Orleans juveniles and a 15-year-old Orleans juvenile on a charge of unlawful entry of a motor vehicle,” McFarland wrote in an email.
Orleans Police caution citizens to never leave valuables in their vehicles and to always lock vehicle doors when leaving them unattended.
