The Washington County Baby Contest is completed as one of the fair’s first events.
Roseanne Snelling is the contest director for the past 12 years. She noted this would be her last year.
Becky White was the emcee and assisted with the contest, along with Snelling’s daughter, Chandra.
Judges for the event were Ashley Tingle, a student from the University of Southern Indiana, majoring in social work and Katie Newton, Miss Teen Indiana International.
Also helping with the event were Miss Washington County 2013 Chelsi Casey and Miss Pekin Fourth of July Taylor Humphrey.
