Dave O’Mara, the state’s contractor for this $588,513 Seymour District pavement project, will have flaggers present at worksites to direct single-lane traffic around its crews and equipment.

INDOT anticipates the project will require four weeks for asphalt patching on this 16-mile section of U.S. 50 to be completed.

A chip seal application placed by INDOT maintenance personnel is slated for later this summer. When finished, the east-west roadway will have a rumble strip centerline for added safety.
