Indiana State Excise Police officers arrested eight people at last night’s Keith Urban concert at Klipsch Music Center.
Eight people were arrested on a preliminary charge of illegal possession of alcohol, including three less than 18 years of age. Three people were also issued written warnings for illegal possession of alcohol.
Indiana State Excise Police officers will continue to work closely with Klipsch Music Center safety officials to promote public safety at Klipsch concerts.
As the enforcement division of the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission, the primary mission of the Indiana State Excise Police is to promote public safety by enforcing Indiana’s Alcoholic Beverage Code. While excise officers have the authority to enforce any state law, they focus primarily on alcohol, tobacco and related laws.
