Raising funds for the 4th annual Randy Johnson Soup Dinner just got a boost from the Washington County Community Foundation. All funds raised will be matched 50 cents on the dollar by the Foundation.
The Salem High School FFA and NHS will be hosting the soup supper on Wednesday, November 26 prior to the Salem vs. West Washington boy’s basketball game beginning at 5:00 pm and continue through the JV game.
There is no cost for this all the soup/dessert you can eat event, but donations will be accepted. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and all money raised throughout the night goes to the Randy Johnson Memorial Scholarship fund.
Randy was instrumental in the development of facilities and programs here at Salem Community Schools and we hope to continue to remember the great things that Randy did for our school system.
Please come and join Salem FFA and NHS in remembering Mr. Johnson and help in raising money for the scholarship fund in his memory. If you have any questions or would like to make a donation to this fund and can’t attend the soup dinner, please contact Seth or Nicole Purlee. spurlee@salemschools.com or npurlee@salemschools.com Thanks for your support and we hope to see you at the soup dinner.
