Rosetta L. Allbright, 42, 6775 East Schnellville Road, Schnellville, was arrested and charged with Possession of Hypodermic Needle (4 Counts), Level 6 Felony and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Level 5 Felony.

Around 8:50 P.M., Troopers Charlie Johnson and Justin Mears observed a blue 2004 Cadillac Escalade at the intersection of State Road 37 and State Road 62 in Tell City with an inoperable tail light on the driver’s side.
After initiating a traffic stop on the Cadillac, troopers began speaking to the driver, Jonny L. Arnett, Louisville, KY, and the passenger, Allbright, who was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the stop.
Further investigation during the stop led troopers to a search of the Cadillac, which unveiled four hypodermic needles containing morphine in the front passenger seat, wrapped in a hooded sweatshirt.
Troopers learned during the stop that the sweatshirt and contents belonged to Allbright.
Allbright was placed into custody, without incident, and lodged in the Perry County Jail. Arnett was released at the scene after being issued a warning for the tail light violation.
