The Indiana Department of Transportation will be resurfacing a section of State Road 56 next week in downtown French Lick/West Baden.
Weather permitting; crews will begin work on April 14 with the goal of being finished with the project by mid-May. About 1.6 miles of roadway on will be resurfaced on S.R. 56 from S.R. 145 to just west of U.S. 150.
Traffic will be affected in both directions. The road will not close, but flaggers will be present. Motorists should expect delays.
