Rita Catherine Hartman, Pekin, age 86, passed away at the Meadowview Health & Rehab Center in Salem, IN. She was born on December 23, 1928 in Concordia, KY to Darrell Ransom and Martha Hartley.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Keith E. Hartman, Sr., her son-in-law Danny Corder, One brother: Darrell Junior Ransom and One grandson: Sean Hartman.
She is survived by one son: Keith E. Hartman, Jr. (Vickie) Two daughters: Gwen F. Corder and Joyce H. Morris (David). Three sisters: Sabina Mae Welch, Martha Louise Hujo, and Mary Joann Murphy. Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and 12 nephews and 15 nieces also survive.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday at the Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in the Central Barren Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00pm- 8:00pm Wednesday and from 10:00am to time of funeral service on Thursday at the Love Funeral Home in Palmyra. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association Greater Kentucky and outhern Indiana Chapter 3703 Taylorsville Road
