Levi Garrett Rappe‘, (pronounced rap-pay) 17, of Hardinsburg, IN passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at his home. He was born December 12, 1997 in New Albany, IN to Robert Lee Jr and Velma Jane Smith Rappe‘.
He was a junior at Paoli High School where he was an active member of the Paoli FFA Chapter and participated in The Miss Boots Pig Project. He was on the Soil Judging Team, where he excelled and was to receive an award on Tuesday evening. He also enjoyed many outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Lee Rappe‘ and maternal grandfather James E. Smith.

Mother: Velma Jane Rappe‘, Hardinsburg, IN; a father, Robert Lee Rappe‘ Jr, of Fredricksburg, IN; a Maternal grandmother, Marion Anita Smith of Marengo, IN; a Paternal grandmother, Joyce Ann Rappe’ of Memphis, IN, two brothers: Dacoda James Rappe‘ of Hardinsburg, IN and Branson Lee Rappe‘ of Hardingsburg, IN
Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, April 27, 2015 with James Smith officiating at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, IN. Interment will follow at the El Bethel Cemetery Marengo, IN.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-8:00. Sunday, April 26, 2015 and from 9:00 until the time of serviceMonday at the funeral home.
