Jerome F. “Bud” Stark Jr., age 70, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at his home. Bud was born September 22, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Jerome F. and Gertrude E. Hollkamp Stark, Sr. He was a Navy Veteran,
self employed carpenter, former employee of Churchill Downs for 27 years. He helped manage the Kyana Cluster Dog Show for the Louisville Kennel Club for 32 years.
Surviving are his wife Melinda P. Cooper Stark, Sons: Christopher M. Stark of Louisvillle, KY, Daughters: Gina Lynn Burton of Louisville, KY, Brothers: Robert J. Stark (Jerri) of Louisville, KY, Sisters: Nancy Stark of Louisville, KY, Benjamin J. Stark of Corydon, IN, Joseph T. Stark of Corydon, IN, Meleah D. Phillips-Coogle (James) New Salisbury, IN, Michael Stark (Kathy) of Louisville, KY, Suzanne Stark of Louisville, KY, Alice Lucas of Louisville, KY, Mary Ann Monroe (Don) of Louisville, KY, Grandchildren: Enily Hentz, Keaton & Connor Burton, Cora & Nola Coogle.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial gathering will be at 4 P.M. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, IN.
Visitation will be at the funeral home after 1 P.M. Saturday.
