Earl D. “Sarge” House, age 80 of Corona, California passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015. Born February 16, 1935 in Illinois, he was the son of the late Margaret Marie.
He was a retired Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Marine Corps and served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He attended the Canton Christian Church, was a member of the Salem Masonic Lodge #21 F. & A.M., the Salem American Legion Cecil Grimes Post #41 & the Salem V.F.W. Post #6636.
He married October 11, 1975 to Zelli M. (Hardin) House, who survives. Also surviving are: 2 daughters: Becky (Pete) Troncoso, Corona, California and Ginger House, Monosina, California; 3 sons: Stan House, Yorba Linda, California, Dale House, Jeffersonville, Indiana and Earl J. House, Monosina, California; Brother: Richard E. Landrith, Wenona, Illinois; 2 sisters: Emma Sanders and Rosemarie Winterhalter, Moline, Illinois; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He was preceded in death by his mother, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Martin officiating.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Sunday and after 9 am Monday. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors.
