Both the Salem Lady Lions and the Lady Senators will be playing in regional softball tournament action this week.
Salem earned its first Class 3A sectional title since 2002 after a 5-2 defeat of the Brownstown Lady Braves last Thursday.
The Lady Senators will play at Borden this Tuesday night at 7p. The game will be broadcast on WSLM 1220 AM.
West Washington defeated Borden 3-0 last year for the Regional Championship. West Washington has won the Class A sectional title for the third time and made it to the semi-state finals in the 2013-14 season and was defeated by Clay City, 5-4.
The Lady Senators are 18-5 and the Lady Braves are 22-3.
Salem, 20-8, will be hosting Franklin County, 11-9, at Salem on Tuesday night at 7p. The game will be broadcast on WSLM 97.9 FM.
