Marvin E. Ashabraner, age 59 of Salem, Indiana passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:15 am, in his residence.
Born October 30, 1955 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, he was the son of the late Marvin E. Ashabraner Sr. and Gladys Irene (Baker) Ashabraner, who survives.
He retired in 2002 from the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and was a former Deputy Chief of Security at the Indiana River State College in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
He married May 6, 1988 to Susan (Coffel) Ashabraner, who survives.
Survivors include: Wife: Susan (Coffel) Ashabraner, Son: Travis Eugene Ashabraner, St. Cloud, Florida; Mother: Gladys Ashabraner, Port St. Lucie; Sister: Julie Clark, Port St. Lucie, Florida; Sister: Gina Beasley, Port St. Lucie, Florida; Sister: Patty Monroe, Salem, Indiana; Brother: Van Ashabraner, Palmyra, Indiana. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a half brother, John Baker.
A memorial service will be held from 6 to 8pm Thursday, August 27th at Legacy Life Church with Minister Jason Bontrager officiating.
Marvin was buried at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana.
