Carol J. Potter, age 75 of Salem, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11:41 am, in St. Vincent Salem Hospital.
Born June 30, 1940 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Elbert L. and Maxine (Charles) Applegate.
She was a homemaker, a member of the West Side Baptist Church, had been a life resident of Washington County and was a 1956 graduate of Salem High School.
She married November 30, 1956 to General G. Potter, who survives.
Also surviving are: 3 Daughters: Marilyn (Jim) Sechrist, and Melody (Virgil) Collins, Salem and Marletta Sue (Rod) Cripe, North Manchester, Indiana; 3 Sons: Bob (Jonna) Potter, Campbellsburg, Bill (Dawn) Potter and Brent (Janet) Potter, Salem; 1 Brother: Roscoe (Glenn) Applegate, Salem; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Graveside Service: 3:00 pm Tuesday at Conway Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Carty officiating. Arrangements by Dawalt Funeral Home.
