A Jasper man was arrested today after Troopers followed up on information they received about possible illegal drug activity.
Arrested and Charged was Travis R. Jones, 24, 705 East 15th Street, Jasper. Jones was charged with Illegal Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, Level 6 Felony;Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony and Possession of Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor.
Around 12:56 P.M., Trooper Brock Werne and Master Trooper Brian Laroche met with Jones at his residence in Jasper.
Troopers received information earlier in the morning that there was possible drug use occurring at the residence.
After speaking with Jones, Troopers searched areas in the back yard, locating a hypodermic needle and other drug paraphernalia.
Jones was placed into custody and lodged, without incident, in the Dubois County Security Center.
