Salem Police spoiled a local drug deal and arrested three from Washington County.

On January 14th, 2016 at approximately 3:45pm, The Salem Police Department received anonymous information that a drug deal would be taking place at Cowboys Gas Station located in Salem .

Based on this information The Washington County Drug Team along with the Salem Police Department followed up with this information.

As a result of the investigation three people were arrested on drug related charges. The following were arrested and booked into the Washington County Detention Center.

  • John L. Losson 10170 S. State Road 335 Pekin, IN, 44. Losson was charged with possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug (Level 5 Felony), Possession of a syringe (Level 6 Felony), Maintaining a common nuisance (Level 6 Felony).
  • Jeremy T. Dixon 4554 Highway 56 East Salem, IN, 40. Dixon was charge with Visiting a common nuisance (Level 6 Felony).
  • Taylor Nichole Hedrick 607 N. Main St. Salem, IN, 25. She was charged with Possession of a syringe (Level 6 Felony), Visiting a common nuisance (Level 6 Felony)

Assisting agencies included: Washington County Sheriff’s Department, and the Washington County Prosecutors Office.

These arrests were due to the assistance of the community.
