Norma K. “Bowling” Sallee, age 65 of Salem, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 at 4:28 am, in St. Vincent Salem Hospital.
Born February 22, 1950 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Lula (Thomas) Bowling.
She was a homemaker and former school bus driver, was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church and had been a life resident of Washington County.
Norma married September 19, 1966 to Darrell Bowling, who passed October 31, 1980.
She married Hubert Sallee, who survives. Also surviving are: 3 Daughters: Lisa (Gerald Massey ) Bowling, Salem, Rhonda (Chester) Bobo, Pekin and Brenda (Terry) Alexander, Sellersburg; 2 Sons: Darrick (Rebecca) Bowling and J. E. (Elena) Sumpter, Salem; 1 Brother: Aaron Bowling, Salem;
1 Sister: Patty (Mike) Jackson, Azle, Texas; 7 Grandchildren: Sarah Hopkins, Julianna Sumpter, Kay Stevens, Rochell Bierly, Zenas Bowling, Wyatt Bowling and Ella Bowling and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 son; Chris Bowling and 1 brother, Ralph Sparrow.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Friday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Thursday and after 9 am Friday.
Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
