Michael Lee Gramlin, age 56, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana. He was born July 13, 1959 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Edward “Ray” and Mary (Carpenter) Gramlin On June 9, 1984 he married Doris (Stamper) Gramlin and she survives.
He worked for 20 years as a certified machinist at the former Ewing & Hall Machine Company in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Michael was a 1977 graduate of West Washington High School.
He enjoyed fishing, racing, engine building and modification and NHRA drag racing. He was also a former Boy Scout leader for Troup 104 in He is survived by his wife, Doris Gramlin, his mother, Mary Gramlin, one son, Jeremy Gramlin all of Fredericksburg, Indiana.
Three brothers, Danny (Norma) Gramlin of Salem, Indiana, Mark (Melissa) Gramlin of Fredericksburg, Indiana and Bryan (Faith) Gramlin of English, Indiana.
He is preceded in death by his father Edward “Ray” Gramlin on June 9.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
