Karen Anne (Martion) Ingram, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family Tuesday March 1, 2016. She was born January 22, 1953 in Jeffersontown, Kentucky to the late Edwin Martion and Louise (Roberts) Karen worked for over 20 years at Tecumseh-Peerless Gear in Salem.

She was a member of the Highway Church in Pekin. She was a graduate of North Harrison High School.

Her favorite activity was her role of MaMaw to her grandchildren. She also loved being outdoors, flowers, gardening, and “picking up sticks”.

Besides being survived by her mother Louise, Karen is survived by two sons: Travis Pickerill (Fawn) and Trent Pickerill (Amy) all of Pekin. Two Sisters: Linda Mae Welch (Bill Rudy), Corydon and Darlene Smith (Ed), of Greenville. Four grandchildren: Samantha, Gunner, Colton, and Emma. Karen is also survived by her dearest friend Chuck Maxey.

She was preceded in death by her father and one grandson Travis Duane Pickerill.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Love Funeral Home with interment in the Blue River Baptist Church Cemetery, Salem. Visitation  will be Friday March 4, 2016, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday March 5, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Love Funeral Home, Palmyra.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.
