Hilda LaVonne Libka, age 83, passed away
peacefully at her home on April 25, 2016. She was born in
Fredericksburg, Indiana on September 4, 1932 to Elmer and
Lucille ( Miller) McCutcheon. LaVonne was a member of the
Eastview Church of Christ in Salem, Indiana. LaVonne loved
flowers, mowing grass and enjoyed any type of yard work. She
also loved to type and would often leave type notes for her
Lavonne married Raymond Libka on February 7, 1953 and they
were married for 42 years.
She is survived by two daughters: Pamela (Benny) Lemen of
Austin and Judith (Jim) Miller of Salem. One son Danny (Karen)
of Salem. Six grandchildren: Wendy Hurtt, Eric Lemen, Chasity
Voris, Catherine Rowbury, Jared Libka, and Emily Libka . Four
Step Grandchildren: Joshua Lewis, Jason Lewis, James Miller,
and Jennifer Garvin. Seven Great Grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday April 28,
2016 at the Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in the
Palmyra Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday till the time of the
