Mrs. Wanda L. Thomas age 79 of Pekin, passed away Tuesday, August 16 at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany.
Mrs. Thomas was born August 10, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Nelson and Rachel Williams Caudill. She was a retired employee of Child Craft and a member of Salem Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Thomas, a son: Timothy Thomas, a sister: Elizabeth Thomas and her parents. She is survived by three sons: Paul Nelson Thomas (Cindy) of Salem, Jeffery Allen Thomas (Kristen) of Somerset, Kentucky, and Christopher Silas Thomas (Jesse) of Hardinsburg, three daughters: Shannon Law (Robby) and Clara Diane Mehling (Joseph) both of Pekin, and Lana Susan Smith (Todd) of Salem, two brothers: Julian Caudill and Cannan Caudill both of Ohio, two sisters: Lavinna Jewell of Salem and Stevie Ann Thomas of Ohio, 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00AM-time of service.
