The Scott County Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted for questioning in multiple allegations of child molestation, child solicitation, sexual misconduct with a minor, possession of child pornography and intimidation.
Authorities with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police and the US Marshals Service are actively searching for 39 year-old Christopher J. Broy. Broy currently has warrants for his arrest out of Harrison County, IN. for charges involving sexual misconduct with a minor, child solicitation, possession of child pornography, and invasion of privacy.
Broy is described as 6’01”, approximately 200 lbs with Brown Hair and Brown Eyes.
Broy’s pictures show him to be scruffy at times and to have a thin beard and goatee.
Police said he was allegedly soliciting middle and high school aged juvenile females through Facebook messenger and Snapchat apps. They believe he was doing this under several different Facebook and Snapchat aliases.
Several of his Facebook accounts have been deactivated. His known Facebook names are/were: “Chris Broy”, “Chris B”, Jeremy J_G”, “CJ Aintgivenup”. His Snapchat name is “Cjbroy46”. Police said Broy has been known to use fake profile pictures that portray him to be a young boy and he commonly provides a false age to his victims ranging from 19-24-years-old
Authorities said they have been notified that Broy is aware he has active arrest warrants. They said Broy recently posted to social media, making a reference that he is in possession of a firearm so he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Broy is known to frequent Clark, Scott, Floyd and Harrison counties.
