Routine Traffic Stop Nets Meth Arrest in Seymour

Routine Traffic Stop Nets Arrest

On September 11, 2016 at approximately 4:00am Deputy Rick Meyer arrested Gerardo Jimenez and Bernardo Jimenez after he witnessed them in a 2003 Ford Expedition driving recklessly on US 50 west of Seymour.

The driver, Gerardo Jimenez, 23 had a loaded handgun in his possession. Another loaded handgun was located inside the vehicle, along with other paraphernalia.

Also inside the vehicle was a large amount of money and approximately 135 grams of methamphetamine, along with scales and a ledger.

Meyer is requesting charges against Gerardo Jimenez, and Bernardo Jimenez, both of Edinburgh, of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a handgun without a permit.
