Mike L. Blankenbaker, age 63 of Salem, Indiana passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 4:50 pm, in Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.
Born July 12, 1953 in Salem, he was the son of the late Lloyd R. “Bud” Blankenbaker and Rita C.(Thompson) Blankenbaker. He married June 30,1984 to Vickie L. (Bruner) Blankenbaker, who passed away August 12, 2003.
Mike was a former employee of Jackson Jennings Co-op in Salem, a life resident of Washington County and a member of the N.R.A. His survivors include: Daughter; Ashley Blankenbaker, Indianapolis, Indiana and brother Rick Blankenbaker, Harvard, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Kevin & Gary Blankenbaker.
Visitation hours will be from 11 am to 1 pm Wednesday.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Corp officiating. Committal and Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery near Pekin, Indiana.
