A semi-trailer owned by Partin’s Salvage overturned on Cox Ferry Road this afternoon. There were no injuries.
According to Brad Partin, the truck was heading away from the salvage yard with about 80 tons of scrap loaded on the truck, heading for Jeffersonville.
It was passing another vehicle between Nubian Road and Rush Creek Road and got into the ditch and lost control and turned over.
Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Washington County EMS and the Salem Fire Department responded.
Wilcox Wrecker and one of Partin’s heavy equipment pushed and pulled the semi back upright after about an hour.
