Sweep with State Parole Officers Leads to Six Arrests on Drug Charges

Two searches by State Police Officers with State Parole Officers led to drug charges filed against six people.
 
Friday afternoon, Master Trooper Trey Lytton, Senior Trooper Robbie Lambert, and State Parole Officer Shelly Brown conducted a parole search at 100 First Street in Cannelton.

During the search, drug paraphernalia was found inside the residence, and four individuals inside the home at the time of the search were cited into court on Class C Misdemeanor drug paraphernalia charges.
 
A second parole search at 1630 Tell Street in Tell City uncovered methamphetamine, hypodermic needles, synthetic drugs and drug paraphernalia. 

Two suspects inside, 33 year old Miller Nix and 22 year old Tiffany Dukes were placed into custody and lodged without incident in the Perry County Jail.

Michael Ray Nix, 33, Tell City, IN
– Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony
– Possession of a Hypodermic Needle (six counts), Level 6 Felony 
– Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony
– Possession of a Synthetic Drug, Class A Misdemeanor
– Possession of Paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor
 
Tiffany A. Dukes, 22, Tell City, IN
– Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony
– Possession of a Hypodermic Needle (six counts), Level 6 Felony
– Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony
– Possession of a Synthetic Drug, Class A Misdemeanor
– Possession of Paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor
– Warrant, Violation of Community Corrections (Original Charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Resisting Law Enforcement)
