Foresters will be available on Wednesday, December 28 th from 8-10 am to answer questions about trees at Nice’s Family Diner at 1302 W. Mulberry Street in Salem off SR 56.
Stop by, pick up your breakfast, and then join local foresters to ask questions about your woodlands or other questions about natural resources.
The informal “breakfast with a forester” is being sponsored in local counties by the White River RC&D Forestry Committee as a way to better inform people about forestry.
Mike Gregg, a local committee member, explains, “There isn’t a presentation involved, we just want to be available to answer people’s questions and thought at Christmas time when people are out and about, it might be a good time for them to stop in and take some time to find out about their trees”.
There is no fee for getting advice, and Gregg said the foresters will have information on a variety of topics available for people to pick up. For more information contact Mike Gregg at greggforestservices@gmail.com or call 812-987- 4060.
